He completely renovated this ancient home into a beautiful, and I mean very beautiful, bnb with three gorgeous large rooms and baths, and a cozy sitting area with fireplace and kitchen. Artistically crafted details throughout at a 5 star level. Custom metalwork for the stairs, etc. Very nice linens, towels. super comfortable beds and pillows. Easy parking nearby. walk ten steps to nearest restaurant. couldn't have a better location. period. I would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Fontecristina. I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting - the pool, garden and view are stunning. The apartment itself is exquisite.
Krisztina and Lucio are the perfect hosts - they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and gave us really helpful tips for things to do and places to go to.
The apartment is in a great location to visit other areas. We took day trips to Rome, Perugia, Assisi, Siena, Florence and San Morino. It is also just perfect for lazy days around the private pool, soaking in the beautiful Umbrian countryside!

Best booking experience ever! The host was extremely helpful, friendly and always available with any questions.
The location is very good, a few steps from the old town, food stor, a restaurant etc. Free parking is right around the corner.
It is located in a historical building with a very authentic yard view.
The apartment itself is nice and clean. Shower gel, shampoo, fresh towels, coffee machine - everything was provided.
Highly recommend this place to stay in Sarteano. The best and easiest booking experience. 11/10!

This was a beautiful little apartment, very well located in a quiet street, but near the main attractions. Lots of nice touches. Bed, pillows and mattress were very comfortable.

Great hosts, very sweet and attentive while giving us full privacy during our stay. Beautiful pool area, view and amazing house. The house is very close to the city with easy parking and plenty of great restaurants to try. This is a must visit if you want to have a true Italian experience.
Only a 10 minute walk from a wonderful town centre. Property was beautiful , full of period character and history, with a great room that had lovely views. Breakfast table was great, especially the wonderful array of cakes made by Nona. Katya, our host, was always helpful and cheerful and made the Relais feel like a ‘home from home’. All in all a great location to explore Assisi, Montepulciano, Orvieto etc,
Stefania as the host was very very friendly and has provided especially a really delicious Easter Cake ( Colomba). This on top other food which was there.
Other great observations: really much space and a very quiet location. And even two Mountainbikes available.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Hosted by a very warm family, who make you feel at home from the first moment. Delicious and fresh breakfast in the mornings. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed it very much. From the B&B you can easily discover Italy’s charming towns. Being only 5 minutes driving from Citta della Pieve offers plenty of dining options.
Great location overlooking the countryside and within walking distance from Città della Pieve. Recently and elegantly refurbished boutique guest-house with an excellent restaurant where to relax and enjoy local food and wine in a charming atmosphere…
I will definitely consider staying at this property again!
