The breakfast was great plenty of choice of continental and cooked food. Cakes, breads and fruit. All the types of coffee available. Due to our early departure before 7 am, the staff told me that at about 6.30 most of the breakfast items would be available and we would be able to get some food.
There was a small beach less than 5 minutes walk from the front of the hotel ideal for us as my friends and I are keen swimmers.
The staff were very friendly and we had our evening meal at the hotel on 3 out of our 7 nights stay as we enjoyed the food. The reception staff also arranged our taxi back to the airport as we needed 2 cars for the 9 of us.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful out of the way location in quiet peaceful neighbourhood. We always enjoyed the 30minute walk into Cannobio and the shorter walk to Orrido di Sant’anna where you can swim. The terrace was perfect with a lovely view of the mountains and Francesca and Mauro were such nice hosts. We would definitely come back here!
Very nice stay, great hosts with a very personal touch. Perfectly renovated more than 100 year old house. Exceptional breakfast and just the right choice for à la carte dinner with tasteful aperitif drinks.
Great location near the center of town, with mountain and lake views from each window. Hosts are very responsive and detail-oriented. Well equipped room within the applicable regulations.
The apartment is really nice, well equiped, with a stunning view on the lake. Stefano is a super host and the handover of the keys was totally uncomplicated.
The apartment is a 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre, but it is a really nice walk.

We enjoyed our stay at Giardino delle Ortensie, the apartment is roomy and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great for access to both Stresa and Lucarno. Cannobio itself is a very nice town with lots of restaurants and we had a great hike along the local river.
