Perfect location for our first night in Iceland easy drive from airport and got to see the northern lights too which was a great start to our trip! Great kitchen facilities that we took advantage off! Didn’t use the lovely out door seating area but it was so nicely laid out! Superb hosts

Breakfast was terrible. Ham, yellow cheese, tomato and cucumber. There was not even butter, nor anything warm. Oatmeal was cold and hard as a rock, we were in shock. In the room from the inside the door handle got stuck in our hand a few times. There was no tea in the room, only coffee.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Just an accomodation in small double bedrooms. I liked that it was a quiet place. The process of getting into the room was easy, the code was sent in advance. The room was clean, but small.

It is so warm-heart of host that all radiators have being opened for welcoming us, even in July (summer, but 11 centi degree)

Excellent location for a short visit to SW Iceland. Clean and comfortable and easy to access. Very quiet. Restaurants and supermarket a short walk away or Selfoss town 25 minutes drive for more options. The owners were easy to contact and helpful (there was a light out in the bathroom). The heath between the church and the sea is very rich in flowers for an evening stroll.
Black beach guesthouse location is perfect for traveling in Iceland, start traveling from Reykjavik then by evening come here for a cheaper stay. Room’s are clean, beds are so comfortable, very easy to get in, they will send you your codes and information for the doors to get in the day before arrival: it’s so easy and quick, and you don’t have to talk to anyone to get your key! My family was all happy with a comfy bed and warm blankets.
Great no-contact, "keycard-less" experience: you receive a PIN code by email to access your room. The area is quiet, and there are plenty of parking spaces around. Even though the guesthouse looked almost fully booked, we never heard any noises from the other rooms. The room was quite pleasant, cosy and comfortable which made us feel at home. It had some nice amenities too, like a kettle and coffee/tea, which were replenished by the staff for the next day which was great. We have really enjoyed our stay here!
Very easy no reception check-in. Modern room with all needed amenities. Quiet place with some restaurants around. Location is somewhere near the town working area but it is not a problem at all (at least in the evening/night).
Cosy small guesthouse in a quiet area. We had a nice spacious room, clean and fresh. The check-in process was easy and quick, we received detailed instructions before our arrival. There are supermarkets, cafés/restaurants and gas stations in near proximity. Definitely would recommend this place!
This is a clean and quiet guesthouse with self check in. Ideally suited to one's first or last nights in Iceland if you dont want to stay in Reykjavik. Around 2 hours to Keflavik. Excellent location to explore the Reyjkadalur Thermal River.
