The guesthouse was a perfect stopping point in our drive through the West Fjords. Very clean, easy instructions for entry. We happened to be the only guests that night so it was very quiet.
Just 328 feet from the Ísafjördur shore in the Westfjords, this guest house offers 2 TV lounges and rooms with views of Skutulsfjördur. Wi-Fi and parking are free.

I have stayed here several times, generally okay if other options are full. Old house that is spacious and homey and comfortable. There is a great cafe (Husid) on the opposite side of the street, and the hostel is located close to a road intersection with the gas station.
Featuring sea views, Flateyri guesthouse in Flateyri features accommodations, a garden, a terrace, and a shared lounge. This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Comfortable guesthouse in the small town of Sudavik. Stayed only one night, but would be a comfortable base to explore the area. Didn't meet any staff, but got good communication from hosts while traveling on the way. Close to Arctic fox center.
Big apartments and well equipped. Nice view on the fjord. A lot of informations from the host about accomodation, local attractions and restaurants, shops, etc.
Lovely cozy guesthouse with a full kitchen and comfy shared spaces. Our room was small but had everything we needed. self check in was super easy, and when I had questions our host would reply to messages immediately. We didn’t see any Northern Lights during our stay due to clouds, but some other guests told us the night before we arrived they could see the lights from the kitchen window.
