We booked this as a place to sleep during a long layover. We could not have been more pleased with how convenient it was to the airport, how truly comfortable and spotless our room was, and how gracious the hosts were. We would highly recommended this not only as a great space for a rest near the airport, but also as a place you could comfortably base out of for a longer exploration of beautiful Iceland.

It was close to the airport, about 10 mins if you take a taxi. It was self service so you got a code to get it to the building and for your room. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The common kitchen was cozy and had enough cutlery. It did not have an oven or a stove but with just the microwave was enough. The bathrooms were cleaned and got plenty of hot water!

What a gem - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I was impressed with all the amenities (full kitchen with toaster oven, air fryer, full fridge, oven, hairdryer, hot tub) and the kitchen area and our room were spotless. Located 15 minutes from the airport and there is a small gas station/grocery store within walking distance. The owner/host was so kind and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend and if we are ever lucky enough to make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay again!!

A small guesthouse in a private home conveniently located to Keflavik airport. Of the 3 rooms on offer in the main house only one, ours, has an en-suite. The room has been designed for comfort, a small fridge available and a well lit bathroom. We only needed a room for one night before an early AM flight back to the US. Our hosts were welcoming, recommended a restaurant just 2 blocks away for dinner and provided a ride to the airport in the morning. Guest house is well located to the Blue Lagoon.

Great location close to the airport for an early morning flight. A well equipped room with a comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Close to a couple of supermarkets and fast food outlets. Loved that we had a microwave for heating dinner. Coffee machine with pods and kettle with tea bags. The host met us to check all was ok. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our flight arrived quite late in the evening so we decided to stay close to the airport rather than drive into Reykjavik city centre so late. The guest house was conveniently located for this, about a 7 minute taxi ride from the airport. It was clean, comfy and a little breakfast was even provided in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The host also gave my partner a lift to the airport the next morning to collect our hire car which was very kind of him. Would stay again and would highly recommend!
