What a great place to start our Icelandic trip! The room is as per the photos, we knew that any cooking would be difficult so we brought something that didn’t need cooking. Plus some beers to drink whilst looking at the fantastic view from the top floor!

Coffee (Philips Senseo Pads and coffee machine incl. filter) tea, hot chocolate. Spices, sugar, milk and cereals. Spacious kitchen with only 2 cooking plates and stove. Many clean and fresh toilets and showers. Perfect for a base camp to explore the area more thoroughly.

Lovely place in a quiet and secluded location close to two hot springs and the golden circle route. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and the abundant self-service breakfast is great. Clean, comfortable beds, the hand towels in the shared bathrooms are a lovely touch. Friendly hosts.

Fantastic hostel-like b&b in a great location on the Golden Circle! The room is small, but the common areas are very comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. Very friendly host as well!

Quiet, clean, charming retro style rooms. The host quickly obliged when we asked for extra pillows. Breakfast was included in the price. It was OK - bread / toast / cheese / meats / cereals / tea and coffee. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing special either. We would happily stay at Guesthouse Fluđir again.
