The crew: Sabrina & Kuba were very friendly and helpful. They even helped us when there was an issue with the booking arrangement - something which is beyond their usual responsibility.
Also the location is very nice - close enough to Akureyri and a perfect place to start a half day walk to a nearby lake.

This was our second stay. It is quaint, quiet and close to town. They offer an excellent included breakfast. We also had dinner (additional charge). It was delicious.

I booked a room. There are only about 3-5 rooms in the apartment (if your booking a room, the cabins ofc are private).
The rooms share a wc, shower, a kitchen with everything you need and even a TV area. You only share the area/facilities with other travelers wich is really cosy :)
The shared area is also stylish, clean and roomy. And the view, ohh what a great one !
My room had a view over the ocean and mountains.
Love the location, short drive to the city (Akureyri) and yet a country vibe in a peaceful area.
Also, I didn't get back pain, my back was fine. Stayed for 2 nights, but I often get back pain from hotel beds. The bed was good :)

Just a very basic accommodation but in a great location in the fancy town of Akureyi!! Very lovely neighborhood. Has a small play area right opposite to the building. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room but you can pay extra to add it. The blackout curtains worked very well

Elisabeth was an extraordinary, very welcoming hostess, and her dishes were wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with many homemade ingredients (e.g. bread, jam, etc.). It was definitely the best and most convivial accommodation during our stay in Iceland.
