Overall a great hospitality by the team. Location, Food, Services all were great.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Location gets all the penny you pay, kind host they will help you with local guidance and also cab service with then was slighty “slighty” cheaper when compared to what we enquired outside
Host was welcoming, breakfast was home made, tasty, and hygienic. Away from commercial hub, calm and quiet place. Economical prices. Room was basic, but neatly maintained.
The host/ owner of the property Mr & Mrs Taj Mohammad was very cordial and charming along with the caretaker Umesh and his family. Umesh and his wife are excellent and guided us very well.
The view of the tea garden from the homestay.
The landscape area inside the property was very well maintained.
The location is very close to the city centre.
The property is clean and well maintained.
Hosts are helpful and flexible.
Warm water readily available in the washroom.
Lovely family-run accommodation with fantastic hosts who are super-nice and very helpful. Ideal location in a quiet street just a short walk from Ooty‘s main street with loads of shops and restaurants. Very good value for money.
The hosts, the calmness, the garden, the food all home cooked. The host was so helpful. He arranged auto Rick shaw and booked our tickets for the toy train. Our train trip was cancelled and he checked on line for reopening and rebooked tickets. Nothing was too much trouble. The property built in 1890 was a touch of England. Very quaint.
A Hotel run by a Colonel! Lots of army memorabilia - veey homely with lovely big rooms. The breakfasts and restaurant were great - lots of food , very tasty and reasonable prices. The hotel is set back from the road with a small veranda which you can chill out on. There also patking for a few cars/mbikes. The hotel is in a great location - quiet but very close to the town centre - 5 mins walk. We went for a night and stayed for three and didnt really want to leave!
