The property was very good. Away from chaos of the city. Neatly maintained. Has plenty of plants and the seating area on the upper floor was just fabulous. Rain made our stay more enjoyable.
The place is around 7-8kms from the Airport and we have requested for an airport shuttle and it was provided on dot.
The hosts are amazing too. They cooked us a great tasty meal for dinner. They talked to us like well known acquaintances and that made us pretty comfortable at the stay.
Sumit is a great host. We reached his property before check-in time. Since the room was not ready because there was another guest. He offered us tea and snacks at his home. We are really glad that we found this apartment at booking.com. Helpful, responsive host (gave us free upgrade because nicer room wasn't in use!). Clean, well-equipped, and spacious. While the location is a distance from downtown Siliguri, and isn't by many shops and restaurants, this does translate to a peaceful, quiet stay.
I liked the host, Verghese, he is a superb guy, the accomodation is subtle and peaceful, neighbour is very peaceful, loved talking to the owner, if you are looking fo the cheap accomodation and a good company this is the place for you!
Property is very clean and well maintained with all amenities available as listed. Food was excellent enjoyed home cooked meals at its best. Maria the host was very warm and welcoming. Property is situated at a quiet location so its good for people looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the market. Over all its a very good homestay.
