Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This small and romantic guesthouse is located just behind the busy market street in the center of Pushkar, but feels like an oasis of peace.
We spend two nights in one of the cottages, which were very clean, beautiful and spacious.
There is a nice and quiet garden in front of the cottages. The host of the reception is very friendly and helpfully! And they serve delicious pancakes, fruit and bread for breakfast.
Atithi felt like home, papu and his family were welcoming and friendly and it’s a family affair at their lovely guesthouse. The location is perfect, just out of the hustle and bustle but a lovely short walk into town. Relaxed and charming, both in terms of the space and the hosts, it was a blessing to find this place.
Our Homestay was ideally located within a walking distance from Pushkar though relatively quiet. Our host has been just a lovely and charming human being, with a big heart, making everything possible to make our life easier. All her staff was also very professional. The food served for Breakfeast and diner is just divine and so abundant. We hate there for all meals. Room was spacious and very clean.
A nice quiet room which allowed us to rest well. super friendly hosts, nice atmosphere and lovely roof terrace. And we loved the chai at the guest house!
The garden and the kitchen are very nice. When there is a quiet moment, it feels really peaceful. The food is very good and cheap, especially for a hostel. The owner is a very nice guy.
Great location, a little out of the hubbub of the town which enabled an oasis from the more harsh sounds at night. Great host and lovely food! Thank you 😊
Ramesh was a great host and really friendly. Keen to chat and hang out, bit also happy to leave us alone when we were planning.
The location is perfect for the town. Right in the heart, but also tucked away so guests can enjoy the quiet and isolation.
Clean room, good size, bright and cool with a fan and aircon. Good location in a quiet area a short walk to the centre. There are a lot of reviews for hotels on booking that talk about how great the owner is and how nice the rooftop is, but this is one of the few hotels where we found this to be true. Govinda was a great host and the rooftop is really nice. Would recommend.
Excellent stay. The host and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful . Great location. Probably as quiet as it gets in Pushkar. Wonderful cookery class and great food.
