I stayed here my first days in Leh, and came back again for a few nights before leaving. Everything is clean, beds are very comfortable and warm, beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace. Far enough from the town center to be quiet and peaceful- it is possible to walk to the bazaar but in the first 48 hrs you may need to take a cab back up the hill. Hot water + wifi worked nicely. Great meals available from the kitchen, and filtered water for refilling one's own bottle. Padma was very kind, accommodating, and helpful when it came to booking taxis. I would stay here again!

The guys running the hostel are great! I arrived after a long journey and I immediately felt at home thanks to their warm welcome. In addition, the building is very nice and there are two nice common external areas where you can relax and meet other fellow travellers. One of the best guest house in Leh! Hosts are very kind and helpful, rooms are extra-clean, food is very good and all the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful..Just 15-20 minutes walking from the market in a very quiet place,you are not disturbed by noise and trafic. If I will come back to Leh I will definitely choose again Heschuk Guest House!
Rigzin and family were great hosts, and made our entire stay very comfortable. We had breakfast at the guesthouse, the portions were big, and tea was always readily served. They also helped with the travel arrangements, and shared some very useful tips. The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood with stunning views, and is at a walking distance from the main market. Our room was spacious and had huge windows, so even the time spent at the guesthouse was very relaxing!
LOVED our stay here! Rigzin was an amazing host. We felt very welcome and well looked after during our stay. He stored our bags and helped with our laundry. When the guesthouse was full and we didn't have a room (our fault), Rigzin organised a taxi for us and another place to stay. The garden is beautiful, the room large and spacious. The bathroom was modern with a hot lovely shower. It's a nice and quiet spot and a 10min walk to main bazaar.
