I stayed in one of the AC double rooms. The room was spacious, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal, only 2 min walk from the bus stand and 10 min walk from the Sun Temple. Also there is convenient variety of nearby restaurants and shops. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.
I was awe with the location sight. Definitely not expected while booking, as no where it mentioned that its next to back water. One can sit for hours in Restaurent looking at the water. The night had a high tide & the water was really hitting the shore. OMG. Also must add about the Electric Auto from the guest house to the parking. So much helpful. Special mention about Mr. Prabhudutta, an exceptional helpful person. Staffs are amazing.
Hotel was super clean. All amenities were excellent quality. Staff were attentive and helpful. Nice quiet spot just a few minutes walk to the Sun Temple.
Lovely owner who took care of everything in the hotel. Peaceful no noise of roads. Perfectly placed in a quiet street. Location is one of the best thing about the hotel - Just 200 m from the temple.
The host Mr Mahapatra and his son were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make my visit to Konark memorable. For dog lovers - they have a super friendly young white Pom. For those who fear dogs - needn't worry he is mostly on a leash and completely harmless.
The location and the host. The Sun temple is at walkable distance from the lodge. The host was very polite, courteous, and helpful. He even let us use his moped to travel to the beach, very kind of him.
