Arriving at Ram Yoga House felt like a long, full exhale. I instantly felt at home when welcomed by Ram, Lori and the entire staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and cozy with scenic balconies. The rooftop yoga space is simply magical, especially with a panoramic view of the mountains and valley. You might even catch a view of monkeys passing by or hear monks chanting long life prayers from the Dalai Lama temple. Thank you for making me feel like family! I will be back. Oh, and you can get the best masala chai in India served up here.

The location is peaceful, only 2km from city center (20min walk). But if you are looking for some rest, like us, you don't even have to leave. The staff is very kind and friendly, and the food is delicious for a fair price. The dogs are a plus! And we loved the common area, the terrace, with a stunning view of the mountains and paragliders. Good AC, hot water shower working great, all we needed.
Really nice place, pretty new. Most friendly owner with whom I shared many talks. Nice view towards valley and mountains from my balcony. Breakfast on terrace outside. Nice seeting area inside. Lots of wood in room. Certainly one of the nicest pkaces in quiet area outside Dharamshala with great cafe and south indian restaurant in walking distance.
Everything was perfect! From check in to check out the team took very good care of me and were attentive to every detail!

Everything such a peaceful place we can hear the river passing by it is soothing. The place is well decorated harmonious, and the room are simply incredible in terms of size, amenities, decoration, location...they look like a mini chalet, the lovely host has really put a lot of effort making this place comfortable and unique and it pays off! Property - The rooms are cozy and immaculate. The view from the rooms is mesmerizing. Ample parking space is available. The property offers a magnificent view of the stream that flows behind. The visible mountain range is a treat to the eyes.
Food - Delicious food was served. The staff was flexible to graciously accept our minor alterations to their recipes (given we were travelling with a kid, spice levels had to be adjusted).
Host - Friendly, kind and helpful. Ms. Hema is a gem of a person.

nothing at all. from the night staff to the facilities at the property everything was horrible. I had stayed at Radisson before coming to Hayat and I made the mistake of coming to Hayat. Radisson which was cheaper at price for a normal room was way better in terms of amenities/ facilities/ staff were super nice at Radisson whereas at Hayat the night duty staff were super uncooperative and rude!

We had a very cozy stay here. The host Vandana ji and her helper Gopal were very warm in their hospitality. The apartment is very neat and set up with good taste. It has everything you ll need.
The location is also very easily accessible and has parking too. They also provide delicious home cooked meals at nominal charge. We were travelling with our 3YO daughter and Vandana ji made sure milk was available for her during late night. We would definitely like to stay here if we visit again.
