Fantastic stay with Mickey north of Cochi. We wanted somewhere to chill out before starting a tour of South India. He arranged a driver to pick us up from Cochi Airport which was great. We also arranged for the tuk tuk driver to take us around the local area. Mickey is a great host and took us out for dinner both nights to local restaurants. Totally recommend.
The location for sure and also how they’ve taken efforts to be as sustainable as possible. Great for a quiet weekend away.

Amazing place run by the most wonderful Micky and Mahesh! The area is super quiet, the sea just across the street—many delicious places to eat and chill out in the vicinity. The rooms are furnished with love and very comfy. Micky and Mahesh are great hosts! We would definitely like to come back when we are at the Cherai Beach!
Great ambience to the place. Very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location is great - quiet but close to great restaurants and cafes. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming - we had a fantastic stay.
great location right on the beach. I swam every morning. after my long flight from the UK I slept so well with the sound of the waves and napped a lot in the day. there is not much else to do there. about 15 mins walk from closest restaurant and 20-30 mins from main beach. but breakfast is included and you can get food delivered. very quiet area. hosts very attentive and thoughtful throughout the stay and afterwards, checking I got to the next place safely. quite basic accommodation in terms of bathroom facilities but it did the job.
Sajeev and his family are great hosts. Helpful with everything we asked about - massages, taxi rides, where to eat etc. Sajeev's wife cooks lovely Keralan breakfasts which he served us - happy to answer our questions about how each dish was made. Wonderful selection of fresh fruit every morning too. His sons, like him, always helpful and friendly. This was our first stop in India and it couldn't have been a better introduction to Keralan family hospitality.

We loved our stay at Cherai Beach Residency. The hosts/owners were charming and always helpful and cheerful. It is small, and for us (a family with 2 teenage boys) it was perfect. Rooms were airy, clean and had great views. The beach was clean, quiet and perfect for safe swimming. It is a quiet hotel along a quiet stretch of the beach. For us a total delight, yet with other restaurants and sights a short auto rickshaw ride away.
