I wanted to see if Mumbai had a beach that was worth seeing. Unfortunately if this is your goal then you'll be very disappointed. After coming from Goa I guess it was understandable. In any case it's worth a day or two if you want a bit of peace and quiet. The ferry boat ride is worthwhile. The guest house is comfortable and tranquil. The host is very gracious and will provide you with an excellent meal.
Raj and his wife were great hosts who were very attentive to our every need. Raemere is a fabulous cook so I would highly recommend eating at the property. Very peaceful and calming if you are looking to escape the mayhem of Mumbai and experience real Indian lifestyle

It was a excellent stay. Mr Deelip and Family are amazing host. They made us feel homely. Room were very clean, food was excellent, great peacefull society. Great location, designated parking space, full fledge kitchen with all things required for cooking if needed. Overall, it was great stay at very economical rate. Great place for family stay.
Great property! Great hosts, Mr. Tejas and team took great care and were really helpful with the requests. The pool was well maintained, ample of space to play cricket/ football within the property compound. Overall a great experience!
Host was very helpful and polite. Room itself was basic yet clean, but the Premises of the accommodation was very nice with lovely trees, a nicely painted well, hammocks. It was nice to hang out in the garden. It was quiet and nice stay at Sairam Cottage. We got some breakfast on request . Host also arranged Rikshas to get to Alibag centre.
