Hazelbrook Guesthouse is located outside the CBD and a 20-25 minute walk, so the car was handy. Parking is onsite, but to park in the city was a bit risky. We were fortunate to find a park on two occasions. Our room was very quiet and nicely appointed and our beds were very comfortable. We had a kettle with tea and coffee + hair dryer and TV. A continental breakfast served. Noyle our host answered our messages/calls promptly.

Hazel was a friendly, helpful and accommodating host yet very respectful of our privacy. The double room with ensuite is light-filled and spacious, and the house is in a lovely quiet location in a suburban estate, within a short drive of Waterford city centre.

All the staff we met were lovely. Food was gorgeous, we had breakfast two mornings and lunch, everything we had was tasty and well presented. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the city centre and the start of the greenway. The room was modern, clean, quiet and a good size. A lovely hotel to stay in.
