Amelia was very pleasant and welcoming. She recommended Jack's, a restaurant nearby, where I had a delicious meal, and kindly put a parking ticket on my car outside when I overslept. The bed and duvet were very comfortable and warm. I'd had a long day of travelling with another before me so it all suited me very well.

Nice quiet location walking distance to village, clean room
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Friendly host
In the middle of fields, relaxing, quiet
Strategic location if you have a car; Dublin/Howth/Skerries (nice places) are not that far (less than 45 mins) and it's 10 mins from Trim, one of the nicest places I have visited in Ireland
Comfy bed
Great bathroom with Deluxe Room
External space is nice when the weather is good
The host couldn't have been more welcoming. Loads of lovely extras like pod coffee in your room, lovely bath products, a great shower and good sized towels. A bath robe was also available. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries and made to order breakfast. Also plenty of parking. Will be mentioning our stay to friends
Very central location, perfect for my needs close to town centre. Very quaint and quiet. No music during our stay but imagine it could be noisy during a music session! Staff were smashing and really helpful. Breakfast was lovely.
This is a perfect location to begin or end a trip which involves Dublin airport (30 minute drive). After a two-week vacation (family of 8) we ended at Woodview Lodge with a warm welcome from the hosts, a quiet rural setting, and yet minutes away from the town of Trim. The Lodge exceeded our expectations, the rooms were very nicely done, we could not have asked for a nicer way to end our trip. Thank you for your hospitality, we hope more people find your property.
The hostess and her husband could not have been more welcoming. A lovely home in a great location beside Knightsbrook hotel and the heritage town of Trim. Highly recommend this property for comfort, welcome and quality of breakfast. Thank you Mary
I loved the central location and the characterful building. The host was very welcoming. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay again and recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking to stay in Trim.
Cecilia is a great host and she welcomed us to her beautiful home, made us feel like staying with friends. She gave us a lot of information about the area, had maps ready. The room is very spacious, the bed is actually wide, which is not too common in Ireland, the bathroom has a shower and a bath tube, and is also very spacious. The area is very beautiful and quiet and it is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Trim. We had a great stay with Cecilia and will sure come back.
Trim is a charming town and a good location for exploring the Boyne Valley and easy access to the Dublin Airport. Caravogue House is a 15 minute walk into town for pubs and restaurants. Caroline is a friendly and helpful host. Our room was clean quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and there was on-site parking.
