Very clever design so the room we were in was comfortable and you have everything you could need. Very modern and absolutely spotless. Particularly liked the small kitchen for making coffee in the morning. The location is not too far from the centre of town and there is plenty of on street parking (pay & display) so perfect for those looking to explore.
Located in Sligo with Sligo Abbey and Cathedral of Immaculate Conception nearby, The Shamrock provides accommodation with free private parking.

Lovely owners, incredibly kind and helpful! Full of recommendations, assisting with any questions I had, and so quick to respond to come to help. They've done a remarkable job with the place, and if was a really lovely stay. Fantastic bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, gorgeous kitchen, dining area! All immaculately clean and newly renovated. The location is perfect, close but just down the road enough to enjoy a quiet street. Very safe neighbourhood, and felt very safe at night walking from the town centre back to said neighbourhood. Definitely can't wait to come back :)

We enjoyed a nice light breakfast brought to our room by our host Michael each morning. Michael renovated the coach house, very well and tastefully done. The Shower was lovely. We enjoyed playing with Juno their dog. Michael was a wealth of information, places to see and things to do. We enjoyed our evenings at Moran’s pub across the street, Hi to Mary Moran! The only issue we found with the "bed" was not the beds themselves, they were very comfortable but as we discovered throughout the rest of our journey through Ireland, no matter where we stayed, 4 star hotel, Airbnb, etc. the comforters were too warm. And the comforters are your only option for a cover while sleeping. I would still stay at the Coachhouse again in a heartbeat, I felt at home. A very quaint and peaceful place to lay your head.
With mountain views, Peace and Tranquility is situated in Ballymote and has accommodation with a kitchenette.

The staff, hosts and food were exceptional. What a gloriously peaceful place… was treated as if it was my house. I loved the vibe of guests mingling gently. A very convivial atmosphere.
A delightful find, will be back!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The common areas were a warm and welcoming space to hang out. We travelled as a group and it felt like our living room. The balcony overlooking the bay was brilliant too. Each of the rooms were charming and very comfortable. Coordination with the host was easy and just supportive in any way.
Great location in the centre of Rosses Point. Archie was a very attentive and friendly host who communicated in a very clear manner and made the whole process stress free. Would highly recommend.
