Breakfast was quite poor selection eg no fresh fruit, choice of two cereal corn flakes or muesli.

The host Frank came to meet us, and provided us with wine and breakfast items. He is a gentleman, who was not short of ideas and advice on where we could visit with our dog Mitzi. The cottage is beautiful, even has a river at the rear garden, which would be extremely relaxing and beautiful in the summer. Will definitely be back.

What a magnificent place to stay! Gorgeous comfortable rooms, a wonderful lounge area all decked out for Christmas with a wonderful fire. Michael and Sian made us feel right at home and we honestly wanted to stay for longer! They left us a toaster and fridge and provisions for snacks after our massive Christmas dinner at Harvey’s Point (highly recommend) and plenty of firewood.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Frank is a great host. Very contactable always ensuring that we were happy with everything. You have everything you need..very clean and tidy little cottage. Everyone is so friendly in the village. A lovely little welcome pack was waiting on arrival . Cottage is quite central for visiting other places north and south. I think a return visit will be on the cards
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at franks house, on arrival there was beautiful surprise welcome pack on the table for us .Frank was a great host, responded very fast to any queries. The house was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed with beautiful views of the river. This place is a little gem in a lovely little town. You can walk to the shops, pubs and takeaways with your dog .Great spot for touring Donegal and Fermanagh. We would definitely make a return visit!
Avondale was in a quiet location, a walk away from a nice pub. Mary’s hospitality was fabulous, she is such a helpful lady. And a fantastic baker, her scones and soda bread were gorgeous.
This is an excellent B&B.
Best we ever stayed in. It's the little things that make it so. The hostess thinks of everything. Tea when we arrived. A sincere welcome. Spotlessly clean. Inside and outside. Very good breakfast too. So much nicer than any hotel as it's not Mass produced. The bedroom had everything we needed. Even extra pillows and blankets (if needed). Quiet location too. Highly recommend this B&B.
House was first class and the hosts were very friendly.
