Wonderful & experienced hosts made this perfect stop worth a bit of a detour. Really setting the standard for a traditional B&B, all details for access and the local area were shared days in advance - helping to put at ease - and with main st location & handy shops (including. Spar), pubs and takeaway + less than 30 mins from Limerick city - highly recommend for area. The exceptional value for money and hearty breakfast offering were also superb! Layered with a historic building, spacious room and luxuries added wherever possible, this charming stay was the perfect one night stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
It's student accommodation that runs as a hostel/hotel in summer. Basic enough room (single bed, sink in room, shared bathrooms) but clean. About a 20-minute walk from city centre. Great value compared with other hotels the night I stayed. There is a kitchen and fridge space if needed. Breakfast available but didn't try it.
The house is situated in a quiet estate a bit away from the city centre, the room was so comfortable and nice. Naveen is the best host, he got out of his way to pick me up in the city when there was a disruption with the buses and even drove me back the next day as it was raining.
It was just perfect for us 3 girls and the dogs. Beautiful quaint Irish cottage that was so charming with the most glorious gardens.
The hosts Brian and his wife were on hand if needed but didn’t interfere at all and just let us get on with things … only in the next property if we wanted anything or responded to messages promptly.
Couldn’t fault anything about the cottage, its location and just the overall experience was perfect - and if they’ll have us….. we’ll happily be back 🥰
Staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel itself was quaint and charming. Having a pub inside the hotel was an added bonus. Overall good food and drinks. Very close to the University (20min). Right next to the bus stop that takes you to the city center.
Great continental breakfast and Phil a great host who made us feel most welcome and was happy to chat.
Relatively short walk to city centre and plenty safe on road parking.
Everything was fantastic Lynda and Tom were great hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of variety. Lovely fresh fruit salad and fantastic cooked breakfast.
This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The host is charming, considerate and a great conversationalist. It is ideally located within walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast was delicious - an amazing fresh fruit salad, hot croissants and great coffee. There's also a beautiful dog in the house and it was lovely to meet and play with him.
A wonderful alternative to hotels, with more room, privacy and facilities, for less cost. I loved the privacy of the Apartment in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the city centre. The hosts were very friendly and more than friendly. The facilities and cleanliness was top notch. I'd highly recommend!!!
