I only wish I booked with you instead of BellBridge (House-not a homey Eire type for sure). Kara, Joe and all were so nice, accomodating and terrific humour! My room was amazing and big window seeing the farraige which I love!!

The breakfast was fantastic. There were lots of choices and Angela was a gem! The owner, Jackie, was absolutely wonderful. He helped us find our grandmother's farm and even drove us there twice! He showed us the gorgeous golf course and even drove us to the bus. We were only there for two nights but the warmth of Jackie and everyone there will last a lifetime!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Really enjoyed our stay in this quiet unique little spot. Very clean, cosy and complimentary. Kids enjoyed the space to run around and play.
Host was so lovely, especially as we were late arriving.
Highly recommend 🙂
The location was excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the main street of Kilkee, yet it's down a quiet country road so it's very peaceful at nighttime too. The bedroom was very comfortable, with a kettle, tea and coffee, a TV and there was a nice lounge room with two sofas and some books for guests to use. The breakfast was excellent, with generous portions, served in a bright room illuminated by mornign sunlight, and the host, Valeria, was very friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful guesthouse, very comfortable with plenty of space and comfortable lounge areas. Excellent breakfast....and most of all, a most welcoming friendly host, John. John even dropped us into town and picked us up after our dinner, definitely the extra special touch!
Teresa is a great host, greeting us with home made cake, helping us with suggestions on places to eat and visit and she makes a really good breakfast too. Lovely room, well appointed and a comfortable bed. The location is stunning with great views in all directions and it is so quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Had a lovely comfortable stay for 1 night. The breakfast was excellent - eggs & bacon, fresh fruit, fresh scone & muffin with jam, juice, tea. Valeria is a wonderful host, I would highly recommend the Blue Tit Lodge. Great location just outside Kilkee Town.
