This is a very nice alternative to a hotel . The rooms are very clean ,comfortable and well presented. I've stayed in most of the rooms and they are all a little different but the quality is the same, excellent. The shower in the bathroom is superb. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there are several options for eating close to the Rooms. Overall a very nice place to stay.

We have stayed a number of times at the Barn Lodge when visiting family in Portlaoise. The Barn is quirky but in a good way. The rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable beds.
The prices are competitive, and the staff are helpful.

Super welcoming hosts. Cosy big bedroom, clean shower and WC. Clean sheets and super crispy towels. There is a mini kitchen and even board games! I love this place. It's so quiet and peaceful. I recommend a long stay if you're working in surrounding areas for some time or looking for a quiet weekend. It's not my first time here. Excellent money value for such a place to stay.
