Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A really cosy and quite luxurious cabin with stunning views and a beautiful sunset. We were only there for one night unfortunately but I would love to spend a couple of nights there. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin is very cosy and there were scones and biscuits waiting for us on arrival which was lovely. The host popped in to say hello which was nice. We really enjoyed the stay.
Lovely B€B in Derrybeg, nice room, great hosts, tasty breakfast
And they helped me out allowing me to book a second night last minute when my plans changed
Everything. Fantastic location. Just lovely. Sarah is a great host and her lovely rascal of a beautiful dog Uisce is an added pleasure ✌️ Don't worry about research, Sarah provides a comprehensive guide on Donegal and all you need is there. We had peace and calm for 2 weeks and it was divine being in such a beautiful place, away from the noise and pollution of Dublin. 🕉️
Loved the location! - our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed plus the bonus beautiful views. Our hosts were really helpful and welcoming. Loved the selection of fresh fruit and lots of different types of bread for breakfast, plus great coffee too.
The location was very quiet and peaceful. Angela was a very pleasant and extremely helpful host. I will be highly recommending the apartment to family and friends.
This guesthouse is lovely, Moire is a lovely host. Breakfast was delicious. Really great location for Sean Ogs pub for any events/gigs.
