The staff here really makes a difference! There are a couple of Catalan ladies (volunteer staff) who have been very responsive to every request I have made. The location is close to a very good reef for snorkeling. Comfortable over-the-water huts. Large bed with comfortable mattress and high mosquito net. Love the oversized knit hammock! Easy pick up for divers with Soul or Turtle or Yenbuba dive centers.

Great house reef with plenty of fish of all sizes. Walking sharks can be seen during nights. The best breakfast buffet we had while traveling Raja Ampat. Very thoughtfully designed Bungalows and other facilities. Beautiful beach close by. Snorkeling tours were amazing and even more so because of our knowledgeable guide Esni. We simply fell in love with this place and hope to visit again. Thank you so much Andy and Esni!

Amazing location. The view from the rooms was stunning! Aron, the owner, is a really kind and helpful guy, friendly and keen to help in anything you need. The food was good, and overall, the experience was wonderful. As a place in a remote island like this, you can't expect the best facilities but they were in good condition and clean. The bungalows, bathrooms, and dining area are well cared out and clean. There are nice spots around the island to watch the sunset and do snorkeling. They also offer great tours around the area.

Stunning beachfront paradise like. Excellent place for snorkeling (turtle, shark, dugong, clown fish, angel fish…) You can see the birds flying close (hornbills, cockatoo, parrots, doves…) Isolated “resort”. Very quiet. Ideal place for relaxing. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Everyone does the best to meet guests expectations. Very pleasant stay overall. Better than staying at a homestay (hut over the sea or on the beach). Please keep in mind that this is a remote region and hospitality standards haven’t still been established here as we know them in most places. This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eren's guesthouse located right in front of the beach in Sauwandarek village, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the jetty. The room and the common areas were very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice toilet inside the room. The food was the best we had in Raja Ampat by far and quantities were always more than enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs after snorkeling. What made our stay truly special was the fact that my father and I were the only tourists in the entire village during our stay (the bliss of low season) giving us a unique and authentic experience. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the manager, Defi. She was incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. She is very sweet and her English is perfect. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the sea near a great snorkeling / diving spot.
