From the beginning, Piter and his wife were exeremly welcoming, helpful with every little request, and simply nice!

You can rent a scooter from them, as well.
There are two restaurants in a walking distance.
Electricity might fall down due to heavy rains and winds, but it's a regional problem, because of the remote location up the mountains. Thus also the place's magic. I had no network with my local sim, but WiFI worked perfectly.
We managed to get there with the local bus, and same for the way back to Ende.

We had a fantastic stay at Mahoni Guest House!! Haja and her family were extremely welcoming and very helpful! Helping us to organise transport, travel and activities giving us information about the area that we otherwise would not have known. Our room was clean and comfortable we especially enjoyed the seating outside where we enjoyed our delicious breakfasts each morning!

Tam and Augustine are very good hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Exceptional traditional Indonesian dinner by Augustine was a feast and tasty breakfast. Spacious clean room and bathroom with hot shower. Tam helped organise ongoing transport for us and scooter hire. Lovely garden and view of valley and mountains. Quiet and peaceful place. You sleep in freshly washed bed linen. The room is very large and everything is clean.
Rosa prepares a delicious breakfast every morning with pancakes or rolls with eggs. Fresh fruit and good coffee are part of it.
You can enjoy the breakfast on your balcony with a nice view in the valley and above Moni.
Hosts were super friendly and offered to make us a local dinner and also helped out when we had a flat tire which needed to be fixed. Great location with a pretty view and nice and clean rooms (hot water in the shower), included a nice breakfast with lots of fruits. Thanks again!
We had a short but very good stay in Joseph's guesthouse! It was the most beautiful room we stayed in on our three-week trip through Flores: very modern, clean, large bathroom and an area to relax sitting outside. The host was very nice and helpful. We would love to come back at any time!
This lovely guesthouse is run by friendly host Hajar. She welcomed us with coffee and organised our trip to kelimutu and onwards travel to maumere with a stop at koka beach. The rooms are very basic but for 1 night very adequate with a western bathroom and hot showers. The location is perfect next to mopis restaurant. We had banana pancakes, fresh fruit and coffee in the mornings. Thank you for a good stay!
