Amata Borobudur is a quaint and cozy small resort located close to the Borobudur temple, the Elo River and Borobudur town.
We stayed in a Javanese style bungalow that was quite spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom.
The included breakfast was very nice with several menu selections.
The kitchen also served up nice meals.

It was perfect ! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and super clean and comfy. Very close to Borobudur temple (20mn walking) and a nice spot to see the sunset over the rice fields. The best part was the hospitality of Erwin and Adityat who were kind enough to spend the afternoon with us to show us all the amazing handcraft of the region. They also arrange a driver for us the next day to show us all the temples around. Food was delicious. All cooked by Erwin’s wife whom adapted everything for vegetarian. Thank you all for the amazing moment and memories

Location is perfect very close to.the exit from borobuder temple. Short walk in to main town.and many eating places close by. Lady that runs it is full.of smiles, cooks a good local breakfast and is helpful.in all ways. This guesthouse is at the end of a small alleyway way and so well away from.the main road. It is a single floor row of rooms each with a terrace ourside

Bhumi Kasuryan is in a great location very close to Borobudur temple, next to a rice fields, and it’s very quiet. Staff was very helpful organising pick up from airport and transport to Prambanan temples.

Lotus 2 guest house was fabulous. So beautiful, I loved the design of the separate mini-houses and the cool airy interiors. The bed was comfortable (my pillow was lumpy - could do with a new one there) and the temperature perfect.
The tables with a view of the field for breakfast. Very atmospheric.
Nuri and others were friendly, welcoming and accommodation. Our breakfast was excellent.
We ate simple, local (cheap) dinner which we enjoyed.

Love the location. You can see Borobudur from their nice open air dining area. The place itself nice too. Nice combination of traditional their house style yet good for international traveler. Good sense of home deco. From the villa you can enjoy rice field (maybe depend on the villa though) the owner, host, team are all great. Very kind, helpful. From early morning to late evening. Room was great size and bathroom had curtain between loo :) great location, there is a local Caffè run by same people with great coffee and food, when we arrived we asked for scooter rental, while we were having lunch and coffee the scooter was arranged and delivered to us. The host was friendly and gave us several informations about the city and a Wellcome coffee. Our room was at the first floor, it was a large room and we could use the external space to chill just outside the room, there were chairs and a coffee table. We had breakfast in the beautiful backyard. The hotel is in the city center and it was very easy to get to Borobudur temple in the morning.
The area was very quiet & isolated. Perfect for a getaway.
The host was a great source of local information & the whole of Indonesia. He went out of his way to get veggie food for me.

The property consists of only 4 rooms so rest assured that no-one will disturb you. The area is indeed very quiet and tranquil. However nothing is far away, as you can easily approach Borobodur and local cafes on foot. The rooms are spacious and clean, while you are always welcomed with a view of endless rice fields and mountains. The breakfast is very rich, with fresh fruits, cooked local dishes and sweet treats acting as a dessert. The people running the place are very friendly and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality!
