Prambanan guesthouse is located right in the heart of Prawirotaman, a hip neighborhood with lots of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are simple but very clean. We first stayed in a room with AC and then moved to one with just a fan because we extended our stay and both were totally fine. The pool is a great bonus after a long day of exploring the temples or the city. Closeby are several laundry places, the Viavia bakery and a really cool and authentic Batik workshop ‚Batik Winotosastro‘ where you can see the craft and how it works nicely. We were also allowed to create our own handkerchiefs with batik - highly recommend to go there!

Stayed here for 4 days, got superb vibe, the hosts were so nice and helpful, even met few new friends as well. The place was quite clean and so serene to stay, had not so much room which I always prefered. Although this place was hidden, yet it's accesable to some tourist spots. Room is spacey and spotless. Many cute and chubby cats on the property. They also have a cafe in front of the hotel, easily order snacks. There's stove and fridge, possible to cook your own meal! Quiet and cozy space for working, there's a table and desk on the terrace. Nice location, not so near the hustle bustle of the city yet it's easy and accessible to go around.

The staff is incredibly friendly, rooms are very clean and the view is amazing. Quick note the hotel has two areas 2km apart, one is with the restaurant, zoo and kids playground, the other is with the spa area and the swimming pool. Make sure to get rooms close to the swimming pool as the ones close to the kids playground are not quiet at all. The food from the restaurant is delicious.
The property is just amazing and is set in a nice kampung around 10 minutes away from the centre by scooter. Our room was nice and big and was overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. They have a scooter for rent which was very convenient for us.
Also, the host was very responsive and helpful, he helped us find and book transport to cemerolawang and even prepared breakfast in takeaway boxes since we had to leave at 5am. He also recommended a restaurant which had Italian and Indonesian food which was nice 🙂
The Villa is located outside the town in a really peaceful location by the rice fields. The owners were really kind and willing to help with everything we asked. The place is cozy and enough to host a bigger family.
