Szem's Guesthouse quickly became one of our favorite places to stay. It’s genuinely one of the most comfortable accommodations we’ve ever experienced, and the sense of relaxation we felt there is something we can’t emphasize enough.
What We Loved:

- Parking is free and conveniently located on the street under the trees.
- The house’s courtyard features stunning pathways lined with flowers, also shaded by the majestic chestnuts and pines, creating a tranquil outdoor space.

- This place is ideal for groups of families, with or without children; we can’t imagine a more relaxing spot.

- The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late due to traffic and providing an early check-out as well.

We recently stayed at Villa Chez Les Amis in Balatonszepezd and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of the building and the charming rooms. Every meal we had there was simply delicious.
But what really made our stay exceptional were the two hosts, Kriszta and Peter. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of, and their warmth and friendliness made all the difference.
I'll definitely be coming back!

Scenic surroundings of the resort, both inside and out in the Balaton lake vicinity. Pool cleaned daily at night, quiet restful place inviting serenity but also fun for kids.
Really nice place that has everything for a short stay - stylish rooms, a terrace and a kitchen that everyone can use during the day and a quiet garden to relax. You can even see the lake in the distance through some of the windows. It takes 25 minutes to get to the beach on foot. Breakfast was exceptional.
I had a fantastic stay at this wonderful accommodation! The room was exceptionally comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat. The highlight was definitely the sauna and jacuzzi, which offered a great way to relax after a long day. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options that left me more than satisfied. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience!
