The location of the guesthouse as well as the friendliness of our host was exceptional! We loved to be close to nature and being cared for. Our room was spacious, bright and nicely furnished, and with breakfast we really did not have to care about anything during our stay.

Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.

The owner is a passionate host. He welcomes his visitors with a shot of traditional Hungarian Schnaps, he is talkative and makes jokes continously. The place is 10 minutes walking from Szentgotthard's main square in a quiet neighborhood, a separate room for our a bikes (a barn) was provided. Shower pressure is excellent, WIFI fast and reliable und breakfast is sumptous. Host speaks German, don't know about his English skills as most guests are obviously from Hungary or Austria. Finally we were very happy about our stay.
Food was perfect. Staff is pleasant. The fact that you can do late check-in at 11 AM and enjoy the wellness in the morning is great!!! Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet.
The hotel is nice, surrounded by nature, which means cooler temperatures and quiet. The lady at the reception is very helpful. Breakfast is really good. My room was very big.
Very clean rooms, it was excellent because we could let our baby crawl around on the floor. There is a big garden with well maintained lawn and places to sit and eat. The host was very kind, she even made some cookies us.
The choice at breakfast could have been better, the coffee was acceptable, but one can have an espresso for a surcharge at the bar.
City center in walking distance and free parking.
