Super nice owners, beautifully decorated house. Really small pension, just 2 rooms, but despite that you get extremely sumptomous breakfast, everything so tasty and changing every day. Great coffee (not over-roasted).
Spacious room, spaciousy and well organised bathroom (2 persons can easily move there), plenty of bathroom cosmetics including body lotion (!). No TV in room (just fyi).
Surprisingly good location - a few good restaurants in the village, a lot of cross-country bike paths around.

We recently stayed at Villa Chez Les Amis in Balatonszepezd and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of the building and the charming rooms. Every meal we had there was simply delicious.
But what really made our stay exceptional were the two hosts, Kriszta and Peter. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of, and their warmth and friendliness made all the difference.
I'll definitely be coming back!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Knowing the generally overpriced Balaton area, this place was really a perfect value for money. Hostel standards, but for fair price. Staff was very nice, they were preparing pre-ordered dinner for a bigger group and they offered me also the meal for very reasonable price. Beach is close, location is good, I was really satisfied.
Accommodation is cozy in nicely furnished rooms with air conditioning. Parking in the closed area in front of the house. The host was very nice. The accommodation is close to the beach. A few meters away is a small center with restaurants. Revfulop is quiet and there are few tourists.
Everything was amazing, the pool, the villa, everything, we loved our stay, what I assume was the host was lovely for looking after the pool and cleaning it before us going into it.
This is clearly a scam, overpriced, overcrowded, dirty, cheap hostel style, branded as a nice cottage. The only good thing is that the owner has a fair taste in home decoration, so it looks okay, although not clean.
The staff were really super nice and helpful, they explained everything to me and answered any questions I had.
The location is also amazing, the hostel is just 3 minutes from the train station, supermarket, bakery, and other small shops, and the closes beach is also only 5 minutes or so away.
I arrived in late August, which is apparently already low season, so it was very calm and peaceful.
Great location. Nice place for breakfast, and you have the chance to choose between indoor or outdoor areas. The shower was really spacious. The staff was very kind and helpful.
It has been a great experience. The truth is that the hostel is fantastic. Original experience in the hostel near the lake. everything is very well organized and safe. very quiet in one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Hungary.
The guys from the hostel have been very kind with their tips and making an effort to help. They have told me how to get to many places by public transport to discover wine cellars and incredible viewpoints.
