The place is wonderful, close to the lake beach and to many nice restaurants. The room was tidy, and the homemade delicious breakfast was delicious. Cozy little camping next to the vineyards on the hillside overlooking Lake Balaton. It is not particularly close to the shore but it has its own swimming pool. We were greeted warm-heartedly by our host with some palinka/elderberry juice. Housing options span from tent pitches through old caravans to apartments. Also there are games to play (darts, fussball, pool) in case of a rainy day.
The house is spacious and comfortable, and the quiet village in which it is situated has a little shop selling food and household necessities. There is also a pleasant cafe and restaurant. The garden is beautiful and overlooks the lake. The owners, Peter and Edit, could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and we were grateful for their proactive suggestions for local events and activities, and for their responsiveness to questions during our stay. We loved our stay at Mandula House in Paloznak and would definitely go again!
