Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nice and clean apartment in a quiet part of Mako, with wooden floors and wooden furniture, comfortable beds (and plenty of them if you are with children), well-equipped kitchen, private yard and parking behind a fence. The hosts are very friendly and we got along without English quite well. I recommend it with confidence.
The apartment is newly renovated, very clean, fully equipped, nicely decorated, quite spacious. The beds are really comfortable, the blinds allow for a restful sleep, the area is quiet. It's located in the city center, very close to the Hagymatikum Baths. The hosts are clearly determined to provide a pleasant experience and they definitely succeed in doing so.
Great location, near the city center and the thermal baths. We had an one bedroom appartment, very comfortable, with a small chicinette. Tea and cofee available in the rooms. Very clean, warm, nice beds. Hosts were great, they prepared breakfast just for us 3, scramblef eggs were especially good. Parking in the property yard.
We will be back!
We had stayed several times at Helga Apt. in our way to Austria, and each time we enjoyed very much the stay. The apartment is perfectly equipped, the location is in a quiet area, and the hosts are very warm, we feel there like in family. They recently renovated the apartment, new furniture and other things, so now it looks even better than in our previous stays. They also have a great breakfast at a cheap price. The parking is in the yard of the property, so it is very safe.
The host was very nice and helpful in every way, the rooms were super clean and the back yard was excellent - it had a new swing installed and they even had bunnies that the kids really liked. Really great location also, right in the city center but in a quiet little street.
