We loved everything! The room was nice, it had a good air-conditioner, a big TV, and a mini-fridge. The bed was large and comfortable.
It is a small family business and the host did everything to make us feel like at home. His hospitality makes this place very special.

We loved every moment of our stay as House Izvor! Tom was the perfect host. Tom provided great information on things to see and do in the area, and served delicious breakfasts and dinners with beers and wine available. His beautiful home is located in a lovely peaceful spot in the countryside, just 10 minutes drive away from Plitvice National Park.

Visnja & Davorin were the perfect hosts. Delicious dinner and breakfast, we could not finish our meal and Visnja packed it for us to have for lunch at Plitvicka the next day (and it was delicious). Beautifully decorated accommodation and grounds. Wish we had more time to enjoy it!

We stayed here only for one night to visit the Plitvize lakes early the next morning (was about 15 min away)
The host made us breakfast, with eggs at our request. It tasted so farm fresh, and there was a lot of food! Ready at the time we requested.
I really loved the decor of the room which was farm-rustic and very comfortable. There was such attention to detail with paintings, or accessories. There was a mix of antique with almost modern--but everything was in perfect working order. With sufficient heating as it went to low 50s at night. I loved the heated clothes dryer. Perfect for my socks which were a little wet from rain.
It was quite clean.
I loved the sink and refrigerator outside of the rooms ( there were about two-three rooms on each floor).
The host couple was too helpful and kind. I really appreciated them.
I came in later than anticipated and the host came out of her home I think with some kind of light to guide me up the road to the place.
Parking was convenient, and right in the yard of the home.

Everything was perfect. From location to the houst (family). Comfortable, modern decorated and very clean room.
Breakfast space in the basement of the house with the entrance on the semi-open terrace with a view on the forest and the river. Breakfast is fresh and nice, and good coffee (Dolce Gusto).
If you want to have a good lunch or dinner there's s several very good restaurants and buffets in the nearby area (for e.g. Bistro Vučnica in Mukinje 5.5 km from the house or the center of the city of Korenica, which is approx. 8 min of driving away, where you have local markets, pharmacies, restaurants, caffe bars, fast food etc).
If you're a fan of winter and snow, this is an ideal position due to its microclimate condition, and nature is beautiful.
National Park entrance 2 Plitvice lakes is 6 to 7 min of driving away.
Warm recommendation for relaxing and nice stay.

We loved the hospitality and thoughtfulness of our host. Great breakfast to start the day was more than worth the extra charge. This is our second time staying at Rustic River and the experience, facilities and host were fabulous. The host was very helpful in suggesting great area restaurants, helped us with our schedule by providing an early (and delicious) breakfast each day before we headed out to Plitvice. Truly a great stay hosted by a great staff.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The hostess is very hospitable and a nice person. He immediately made us feel at home and we had a very pleasant chat.
The air is very clean and the place is quiet, we had a very good rest.
It was our best accomodation in Croatia and the cheapest one. It was located quite close to Plitvice Lakes and the apartment was superb: a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms… more than we needed! On top of that, the host was really nice. She didn’t speak English but communicating with her was pretty easy. She welcomed us with a couple of beers. I highly recommend spending at least one night there.
The host is really nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean, the area is quiet and it is nearby restaurants area and mostly near Plitvice national park and that a PLUS !
Hosts are very friendly, apartment very clean. Everything from living room to kitchen to bedroom were installed with good quality materials.
The environment is very quiet but still approx. 5 minute drive from grocery stores.
All in all it was a great experience. I would very much recommend Marija Apartments!
