They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Darko is an excellent and very helpful host - notwithstanding the long flight delays we had on the day, he was very flexible and available to show us around the property even late at night
We loved everything about this property! It was superb. The location, layout, decor, & the furnishings were beautiful, clean, cosy and comfortable! The sauna was especially helpful to us! The Host was so responsive and incredibly helpful! This property is a 10/10
The host is friendly. Answered to my queries fast and helped me. The flat has the perfect size and is very well decorated. There were some tea and coffee supplies. The windows have mosquito nets so very useful in the Summer.
The apartment is big, new, clean, with very big terrace, quiet area, free parking in front of the building. It totally exceeded our expectations. It is out of Zagreb city but 10 min with car and you are right in the city centre. Check in and check out extremely easy. We can just recommend Zen apartment.
The apartment is located in a quiet area with private parking. Accessing city center is fast by car. In the surroundings there are plenty of restaurants with local and European food that are highly rated and offer amazing Croatian cosine.
The apartment itself is very clean, cosy and offers everything one need for comfortable short or long stay. The host is extremely kind and helpful. This is a unique discovery in booking.com
The apartment is very clean and well maintained in a quiet residential area. There are lots of thoughtful touches by the host that make the apartment seem more like a hotel (e.g complimentary chocolates, coffee, slippers etc). There is a well stocked kitchen which I found very sufficient for my needs. Washing machine and dryer is great for longer stays, I didn’t need to use them. Plenty of parking space outside.
