Everything about Marojica apartments was great. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, showing us around the apartment and garden area as soon as we arrived.
Unassuming at first, Marojica apartments are built above a quiet hilltop residence in the bay of Cavtat. The hosts live below with 3 generations all working together to cater for their guests. Views from the front facing apartments are nothing short of spectacular with the open ocean as far as the eye can see, and historic Dubrovnik in distant view.
On arrival, Maro notified us of their on-site restaurant located in the garden area inside a renovated stone hut dating back to the 1930s. Inside was cosy with an open grill and bar area with enough seating for approx. 8 guests.
We opted to have dinner here and were nothing short of blown away. Maro served us delicious cocktails with the help of his niece and our eldest who picked fresh mint and lime from the garden. Maro’s Mother made our entrées which were completely faultless. Hands down the most delicious octopus I have ever tasted. Maro’s Father joined us in the restaurant to prepare our meat and fish mains on the open grill. All fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. We finished our meal with a sweet desert and were so pleased that we chose to stay here for dinner and not venture into the town.
This was truly an experience for us and one that I won’t be quick to forget. I seldom take time to write reviews as we travel a lot but Marojica and its wonderful hosts deserve all the recognition they can get.
I highly recommend and sincerely hope to return.

Located near the village Mlini, Francesca Guesthouse enjoys a quiet location surrounded by lush greenery. Each accommodation has a balcony and free access to wired internet.

Francesca is a lovely guesthouse. It’s almost like staying in someone’s home. They were all so accommodating to us. Letting us stay till 3 because we had a late flight. Francesca’s son drove us to the airport. We found out that he has a winery and does tours. Something we wish we knew earlier.
It was a little way out but that suited us and it was easy to catch a local bus into town.
There was a beautiful beach about 20 mins walk. If you go there checkout the bombed out buildings from the war.
Francesca’s house was also bombed and they have been renovating it to become the lovely family guesthouse that it is .
Katerina was such a lovely lady and couldn’t do enough for us. Great breakfast also.

Everything was very neat. The apartment had everything we needed. We would have liked to use the pool, which is conveniently located right next to the apartment, but the weather was bad when we were there. What was very good were the hosts, who are wonderful people with whom we were happy to stop and talk. We will be happy to come back again.

While the room I was given was quite basic, it was certainly comfortable enough. The hosts were helpful and I enjoyed meeting them. They were SUPER nice to let me leave my car in secure parking lot for NO CHARGE for 3 nights, including 2 nights when I went and stayed in Dubrovnik Old Town. And they arranged for their daughter to give me ride into Dubrovnik for modest fee. Also, a very good local pizza place right next to apartment.

Guesthouse Godimento is in a charming, serene location, despite being close to the airport, convenient for our very early flight. Our host, Marina, went out of her way to make us comfortable, - nothing was too much trouble- so it felt like we were visiting friends. She picked us up from the port for a very reasonable cost and stopped en route so that we could admire and take a photo overlooking Dubrovnik and told us she would upgrade us to a larger room- actually a small apartment- so we would not have to climb so many stairs. When we arrived “home” Marina made us a great coffee with yummy biscuits, which we enjoyed on the terrace. She also gave us the last pomegranate from her tree, as we had never tried one. We gladly accepted her offer of an evening meal, ( she said her husband could prepare either fish or meat for us) and they brought a great goulash, along with salad ( best tomatoes we have had an ages) , bread and wine. Her son took us too the airport at 5.00 am the next morning. We enjoyed our brief stay so much that we wish we had planned to stay longer. We noticed a bus stop nearby so Godimento would make a great base for a longer stay to visit Dubrovnik and surrounding areas, as the apartment is equipped with the amenities, such as full sized fridge, washing machine, stove, microwave etc.
Located at the entrance to Srebreno, Pansion Srebreno is located on the main road halfway between Dubrovnik and the airport. All rooms have a balcony and air conditioning.

The staff was excellent. The hotel is family run and the breakfast was alacarte and excellent. They even served fruits from the home garden which was very fresh

Clean, nice apartment. Good shower. New furniture on the terrace. Friendly and helpful host. Great location, a minute away from the marina and the restaurants and caffes. Go the oposite way via Prijeko street and you'll reach the Beach Rat in just a few minutes. Can highly reccomend a charming Beach Bar Little Star, famous for it's sunsets. We had a lovely stay.
The host was very nice and the room was very good. Location is very good if you travel by car, otherwise you need to take a bus from Dubrovnik and walk along the road for about 7 minutes from the bus stop. From what I saw there is no bus to the airport but a taxi is pretty cheap. The terrace is big with an amazing view, especially of the sunset! You can see the planes flying to the airport very close as well but, while being in the room, it is still very quiet.
Clean, modern, plenty of room for a family of three, 2 adults and a teenager. Facilities were great, well equipped kitchen and washing facilities. Great location, only a 5min walk to the centre and a 10-15 min was to Zak beach. Comfortable apartment and aircon was great. Goran is a great host, he went out of his way to collect us from the airport and drop us off at the airport. He checked on us mid week to make sure all was ok, and dropped us off a bottle of wine from his vineyard.
Gasper was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble.Very easy communication. Arranged to pick us up at Airport and took us back for our return flights. Accommodation was the best. So clean. Quiet area. Great bed. Pool was a lovely area to relax around. Garden was beautiful.
The apartment is in a great location. It is just stairs down from the waterfront with restaurants / bars and short walk to the beach. Although close to restaurants very quiet. Hosts are very friendly. They booked a transfer for us from the Airport. The building is in a lovely stone building. I think it's perfect for vacations.
