The location was excellent walking distance to everything.And the accommodation was very nice, the place had 2 patios, which I enjoyed Kostas the owner meet me at the town square the day I arrived which was really nice of him, made things easier for me. If I ever I get back to Syros I would definitely wants to stay At Villa Maria again.

Would highly recommend staying here! Very friendly and attentive staff, and an excellent location (right by the ferry port and bus stops).
This is a slightly quieter part of town, but you're still very close to the action if you want to be. The room was modern and beautifully furnished, and also very clean. We received a hamper with local food upon arrival which was lovely. The property also provided us with an excellent list of local restaurants, many of which we tried and which were all amazing. The bathroom was huge and felt very luxurious, and included lots of special details. The airconditioning worked very well, and I saw that the apartment also had central heating so it would probably be very cosy here in winter as well!
As we are young we didn't mind the staircase down to the bathroom and toilet (this was a feature specific to our room, the 1864) - however, this might be something to be aware of if you're older and have a lot of difficulty with steps. For us the staircase added to the charm of the apartment, as it meant that the bathroom was on an entirely different floor. It almost felt like we were staying in a house!
I also noticed that reviews for the other rooms were impressed by the soundproofing - our room was a bit noisier because it was right in front of a parking spot for motorbikes, so there was occasional noise when someone would leave or arrive. We didn't find this annoying, but if you're a very light sleeper you may prefer to book one of the other rooms at the property.
I would definitely stay here again!

Good location being only a few minutes from the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and lovely clean towels. It was very good for the cost.

Our hosts were extremely helpful in suggesting and organising actvities to make the most of our stay on Syros. Atlantis is a short walk from th beach and in a quiet street. We greatly enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace.
The house was immaculate and in a wonderful location overlooking a quiet bay. Katarina and her husband were exceptional hosts, welcoming, kind and available to help with transport and local recommendations. We stayed for two nights but wished it had been longer! The view is spectacular. Out of season, the town is lovely and quiet with a few tavernas remaining open and a local shop within walking distance. The hosts are next level, they left fresh eggs and fig marmalade for us, which was delicious.
The welcome from the hosts katerina and spiros made me feel instantly welcome, they are fantastic hoteliers. Spiros offered a lift to the hotel and personally gave me a lift when I left. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable with a balcony with a great view of the bay. The pool area was very nice with well kept gardens with an outdoor area for having a good buffet breakfast. I would recommend Syros holidays to anyone.
Great location, near the beautiful small beach. The hosts were lovely, gave us all the necessary information and made sure to provide us with everything we needed. The property itself was well equipped, modern and most importantly clean.
If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place with amazing view at the sea you definitely find it at Lalari Beach Suites. Anna is a really nice host and helps you with whatever you need. Azolimnos is a small village, but you can find everything you need: small shop, good restaurant, lovely beach. We spent almost ten days there with kids and highly recommend it.
