We stayed five nights at Ostria Eressos and absolutely loved our experience here. The establishment is a family business and both the mother and her daughter were very kind and warm to us. On the other hand, they made sure to respect our privacy. They were living in the ground floor and 'invisible' at all times while it was very easy and quick to find them if we needed anything.
Our room was very spacious, with a double bed. The kitchen unit had everything we needed, including a filter coffee machine. We had a small but beautiful balcony, and sunlight entered the room from 3 directions!
The room was cleaned daily, and when I say clean, I mean REALLY CLEAN.
Even though there is a very famous open air cinema very close, we were never bothered with noise, the room was quiet and peaceful at all times. The open air cinema is free and a lovely experience.
The most important feature of Ostria is the location. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach and restaurants. It is so close that if you wanted to take a shower in your room every time you got out of the sea, you could do that without getting tired. The room is also very close to all amenities such as multiple markets, gift shops, a baker (beautiful croissants, breads, pies, sweets, make sure to go there before 09:00 am to find everything) and a greengrocer (Michael is such a nice guy and offers local fruits, olive oil, olives, etc).
I really cannot think of anything negative to mention, apart from the sometimes slow wifi, but considering the positives, that is easily negligible. I give Ostria 10/10, so if you find a free room here don't hesitate to book.
Located in Eresos Village, the beachfront Marilena offers a garden and a terrace. It features air-conditioned accommodation with views over the Aegean Sea or the garden.

Beautiful farmhouse, well decorated and nice rooms. Nice outside space, quiet. 3 minutes drive to the beach (skala eressos) and free parking there. Very comfortable for 6 people and could have fit 8 comfortably.

Clean, spacious apartment. Great location, really close to the beach and only 5 mins walk into town but away from noise. The apartment is set in lovely gardens with grape vines. The host kindly left us a bottle of wine, homemade snacks, fruit and water, which was a surprise.
Vagilis was a great host. He sent me an information message before my arrival which was very helpful. It was very easy to meet him to get the keys. The property is at a very calm spot. All you hear is birds chimming. Its 5-6 min. Walking to the beach and to the center. The room is big enough for two people and it has everything if you want to enjoy your first coffee at the balcony or if you want to cook. The cleaning lady was also very nice. Overall it was a very nice experience for us. I would definetly come back for a longer stay.
Venia and her husband are excellent hostesses !! A very lovely couple, helpful with everything I needed for my stay. The room is spacious and very quiet . Clean and well equipped . I would deffinetely recommend to stay there!
The shops and restaurants of Skala are just a 10 minute walk from the hotel so no car needed!
Lovely accommodation. Very central. Double bed with single on top. Great for 3 single travellers but not for couple plus 1 more. No privacy. Great hosts. Family welcomed me. Help on site if needed but not in your face. Can see cinema screen from balcony but can't really hear it. I loved it!
Beautiful location with great views of the countryside, sheep grazing in the fields and very quiet. Not far to walk to the beach and turtles in the river nearby

Yorgo and his wife were great hosts. They were very kind and helping. Yorgo picked us from Erossos Centre and brought us the place. The room was large, comfortable and cosy. Everything was thought in advance and we found anything we needed in the room. The room had two balconies, one completely private. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. They offer housekeeping. The place is quite close to the beach and Erossos centre. We enjoyed our vacation and planning to stay there again.
Lovely people, charming pension, great location. Aside from the cozy rooms there are some common outside areas (balconies/terrace) that are always shaded and great places for eating your breakfast or hanging out in the evening to read or chat.
