Wow!!! I was blown away by our apartment- spacious, comfortable, exquisitely equipped and decorated, with a spectacular view of the old town and ocean below. Our wonderful and responsive host gave us very detailed directions for getting there and checking in which made everything smooth and easy. I wish we stayed longer just for the wonderful apartment!

Each morning we drank our morning coffee on the large terrace overlooking the sea, then we went to the restaurant next door for a delicious breakfast! It was really fun to explore the alleys and quaint streets of the lower old town, then to climb up to the top of the 'Rock' and ramble around the historic sites and the castle. Our hostess was fantastic - welcoming and helpful. Monemvasia is a really unique and beautiful town, and Athina Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay!
This quaint and beautiful accommodation was right in the heart of the town, close to everything but still quiet. The check in process and facilities were great and we had everything we needed for a stay in this most amazing of places. The hosts were so incredibly helpful too with suggestions of where to visit and what to try, this made the stay even more enjoyable.

Charming local guesthouse situated right opposite the harbour with easy walking to the town, shops, cafes etc. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was typically Greek, simple but delicious.
Monemvasia is unbelievable beautiful and charming, but so was the host here! She undoubtedly made this the most friendly and personable experience I have ever had. I can honestly say that this was the MOST pleasant stay I have ever had in a place. I highly recommend this place if you stay in Monemvasia.
The location is also excellent, off to the side so not in the middle of the castle and is quiet. Balcony is superb, view is great, even has a little espresso maker in the kitchen.
Comfortable guest house in a great location right opposite Monemvasia. Very friendy helpful owner who will provide a large breakfast cheaply if you let him know the night before. Close to all the cafes etc and a 25 minute to the city gate. It is on the road so you will hear traffic going past. Parking is easy also. Good value for money
