I booked Metohi Nature Living for 3 nights on very short notice after a terrible Airbnb experience and my first night in Crete. I'm very glad I chose this place - the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating and really made me feel comfortable. I was able to properly relax for the first time since arriving on the island, and it served as an excellent base for my two day trips in Eastern Crete.

The apartment was lovely and really comfortable, I had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in months, loved the extra large tv (probably 55/60inch) with Netflix!! Amazing! The sofa was comfortable and the bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! Decent size kitchen and a good size outside area at the front with a washing machine and jacuzzi. Large fridge freezer and a 4 job cooker with an oven/grill. The area was nice and quiet so a good nights sleep is guaranteed.

Popi was an amazing host and truly cared about my experience. She and her son even picked me up from a nearby town since I did not have a car - what an amazing gesture.
The apartment was located in a picturesque spot and hiking trails were not too far off. The AC worked well. It was nice to spend time on the big balcony, unwind with complimentary Netflix and take a warm bath in the evening.

A most accommodating host who really looks after you, providing packed lunches and evening meals as well as a very enjoyable breakfast. In addition to exploring the village itself we visited Lato, Panagia Kera and walked the gorge, all on the doorstep.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. Property is located within easy walking distance of village with shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was very generous with fresh fruit, eggs, bread and yoghurt. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.
Location , peace and quiet , fantastic view, great outdoor and indoor space , well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and a great location for exploring the plateau by foot or car .
Everything. Well equipped new large rooms. Magnificent peaceful rural setting with glorious mountain views and closer views of small scale farming. Charming and real. Incredibly generous and helpful owners and hosts. As well as running the accommodation, they run the nearby Kronio taverna and manage their diverse farmlet which supplies so much bounty that they shared at the restaurant and at the accommodation. This is an exceptional place .
This is a wonderful place to stay- Christine and Vassillis are very welcoming and generous hosts - their restaurant is in the village less than a kilometer from the property and the food was exceptional local cuisine- the scenery to behold whilst eating breakfast at your room is something I will remember for a long time.

We really liked Maison Kronio and it's location on the Lassithi Plateau. The hosts are very friendly and make an extra effort to see, that you have everything that you need and all is fine. The hosts also run a taverna in the nearby village and we really liked the dinners, that we had there.
Everything about our stay was fabulous. Communication about accessing was simple and the hosts extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were spotless and well equipped and the hosts left us a lovely breakfast and brought fresh bread to us in the morning. The views are amazing and i enjoyed a very refreshing swim in the pool.

But the best was the breakfast. At first, I was a bit disappointed that we should prepare breakfast ourselves, but... we were provided with lots of fresh vegetables, cheese, bread, eggs, salad, ... Vassilis mad us to take everything with us and I think we had two more days greek salad from the tomatoes. Thanks Vassilis! It was a pleasure.

Vassili and Christine are incredibly kind hosts. The location of Maison Kronio is great, the studio tastfully and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed the warm welcome, the lovely views, the fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden and the superb food in their restaurant in the village! If we vist Crete again, we certainly come back to Maison Kronio.
