I arrived in the evening and the instructions to find the accommodation and room were excellent. My room was well stocked (tea, coffee, some small snacks and personal hygiene products). The room had an air-conditioning unit and was in a nice neighbourhood with several cheap restaurants close by The rate for the night was much better than local hotels and the host provided transport to the airport in the morning at at reasonable cost.

Shower and bathroom is very clean. Love the water pressure in the shower. The rest of the room is big and comfortable. Love the multiple cloth hangers and sofa in the other part of the room.

We enjoyed the drinks at the bar with 15% off as hotel guests, Haba the bartender was fantastic and helpful.
Marina was helpful in checking in during our stay and check out.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Cleaniness. The host offered me an airport pick-up for a decent uber price. He showed me the keys and the apartment.
Few restaurants are walking distance as well as a big supermarket. The place was quiet.

Superb overall - Maria and Giorgos are excellent hosts, friendly and available to help anytime, offering to pick us up even at 3:30am from airport at a cheaper price than taxis or alternative. Super big apartments, all comforts and little things provided (down to 3-4 types of coffee in the kitchen!), beds so comfortable, all very clean. Quiet location too and close to good restaurants and bakeries! Will be back again soon
Decent guesthouse in a residential neighborhood, ideal if you have an early morning flight. Airport literally 10 minutes away, airport taxi far cheaper than from Athens city centre. However due to scarcity in the area, I don't consider this great value for money. Facilities were fine for a guesthouse, calling it a hotel is an exaggeration. This area has some restaurants but it is very far from Athens and residential, only go there to sleep.
Great location (close to the Athens airport and major car rental agencies), modern, very clean, tidy and well-equipped apartment. Great host, always available and ready to help.

Varaba is a great location for an overnight before flying out of Athens airport. Even though it's only a few minutes away from the airport, the house is quiet and we were not disturbed at all by any airport noise. Nikolia the hostess was great at keeping in touch and making sure all was good for our arrival. There are a couple of comfortable seating areas outside to enjoy the open air. The house is surrounded by fields and orchards and you would never know you're so close to the city.

Barbara is a superb host...friendly, kind and extremely helpful. Because it was January and very cold, she had thoughtfully warmed our rooms before we arrived. She also organised transport to the airport which arrived at exactly 3:00 in the morning as requested.
The complimentary fresh fruit, bottled water and little snacks were a very nice touch, as was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.
