really beautiful place and location.
Friendly people.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Located in the quaint mountain village Arkochori, Villa Vadola was an excellent choice to stay for a couple of nights. Comfortable room, spectacular view, especially from the breakfast balcony. Friendly hosts and great breakfast buffet.
Off normal routes, but yes, the road and navigator will eventually lead you to the right place. Charming indeed, with a good restaurant nearby the landlady will tell you about if you ask her. She hardly speaks English but you'll get along all the same. The place is typical of the mountains, with a lot of wood employed. Lovely to have breakfast in the summer shade. Wifi present, fresh drinkable water from the tap.
We stayed here one night and it was amazing, the view was breathtaking and the location is on an old town with lots of history. The owner was very friendly and even recommended us a place to eat (local food and wine close to ower location). We were very impressed by the location, view and even breakfast was very good (fresh fruits, juice, sandwici, boiled egg, butter, choco, honey and bread)
The property was spotless clean and very charming, decorated in a traditional style that made us feel like nobles spending the night in a small castle.
The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with homemade marmalade, French toast and freshly squeezed orange juice.
The owner was nice and always careful to our needs.
it's a 10 when one's looking for an authentic and traditional experience in a quiet place surrounded by nature the host is extremely helpful and nice.
