The room was true to size,which was great for me and my partner, decent size bathroom, balcony was lovely and spacious. Host very polite and helpful.
Quiet location,on edge of town,10 mins walk into square, 2 mins walk to beach, definitely need a car if you want to explore the island otherwise ferry to Argostli which is lovely,then you can get bus to most places from there.

Because we had a later flight, host was very accommodating, letting us leave our luggage until the afternoon and late check out at 11.30.

Volidiera Guesthouse is a very charming family run business, which creates a very special feeling from the start. It is a big house transformed into small hotel with nice rooms and big lobby. Our room was on a ground floor with a green place in front of it, where we could seat, dry our staff after swimming etc. Air conditioning worked well, as well as Internet connection. Every day at 9 o'clock breakfast was served, not so much variety, but all basic food usually consumed in the morning was there: yogurt, sandwiches, cheese, fruits, bakery. So, it was fully ok to have breakfast.
Territory of the hotel is big and taken by nice garden with olive trees around. Swimming pool is about 50m from the house and also surrounded with trees which creates very nice and comfy atmosphere especially when no one in the pool (which happened often - 3 times we were absolutely alone there). Overall that place is very relaxing, slowing down and good for people looking for calm vacation. One more benefit is location - as it's 8 min from the city, and a lot of nice beaches are around in 10-30 min reach from the house. So, when on car (and car is the must to have there) there are lot of options to reach in less then 30 min.

Everything, even more beautiful than on pictures! Hospitality of the hosts, very clean, comfortable and quiet. We felt just like home. Location is perfect, 2 mins of city center by walking, Restaurants, Promenade, Bakery, Market… This beuatiful little town is also good as a base for exploring the island. And trust me, you should do that! So much beautiful beaches and places, specific flora and fauna, breathtaking landskapes…

Excellent apartment for a family. Nice views of the hills and small view of the beach. It’s in a great location nice and quiet but still within close proximity to beautiful makris Gialos beach. Only 4 min walk. Also close walking distance to other beaches and 10 min walk to shops and restaurants in lassi. Had a lovely stay. The host was lovely and accommodating also.

This apartment is amazing, beautifully decorated with all the amenities, super clean and new! (so clean that i felt bad not to keep it that way!) Great hospitality by the hosts, a fridge full of staff (water, juice, ingredients to make breakfast, fruits etc.) and a great location just a few minutes walking distance from the city center. The location is excellent at the marina front and with a short walk distance to the city center. Very clean modern room with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very polite host explaining everything clearly. Quiet loft room. Own space at the entrance to park our baby trolley.

great location, the beach immediately infront (fanari beach) is far nicer than it looks on google. the two tavernas nearby were both good, our personal favourite was fanari restaurant - very friendly and cheap. the place was cleaned daily. we had a fridge and sea veiw. was great and pretty quiet. the walls are quite thin though so i guess it depends on who else is staying. the walk into argostoli could be shorter (20-30mins) but is all flat. towels were provided. kefalonia itself is so worth visiting. very beautiful. the room was big.
