1909 Guesthouse, hotel in Akrata

Located in Kalavrita, the recently renovated 1909 Guesthouse provides accommodation 200 metres from The monastery of Mega Spilaio and 25 km from Chelmos-Vouraikos National Park.

The view from 1909 Guesthouse is absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect retreat for nature lovers. The accommodation locates close to both Zachlorou and Kalavryta, it provides many options for leisure and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, allowing guests to truly unwind. The room was super clean, but what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. Roula and her family made us feel incredibly welcome, offering help with anything we needed and providing valuable local insights. Their warmth and care made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s definitely a place and an accommodation where I would like to revisit and I have already recommended to friends.

A lovely welcome from our host. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained. Good parking space. Lovely pool. Beach just a few metres away. Early in the season so no great restaurants available but good supermarket so we cooked in with the help of a well equipped kitchen.

The house was very clean, spacious and the hosts very welcoming and helpful. We did not use the pool as the weather was cold, but it was relaxing to sit on the lounging chairs. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Wi-fi was patchy at times. The area is nice and quiet, with restaurants and markets nearby.

The apartment was very comfortable, cozy, roomy, with a very nice interior design. It was a terrace on all three sides of the apartment wit nice view to the see and the mountains. It was a quiet place at night. The windows viewing to the street have wood shutters. The kitchen was very well equipped. WI-FI worked very well. The hosts helped us a lot, with everything we needed. We had a problem with the car and they were very supportive with this. I'm very grateful to them, such good and nice people.
