We loved the property. We came here for a 3 days to rest and being surrounded by nature. This place met all of my expectations and exceeded them. However it might not be what everyone is looking for, that is exactly what I needed.
I love the beautiful gardens that were well maintained. The place felt like a farm with many birds, ducks, even cats. Time moves slower when you are at Cycas. The room is cute with many Opening windows on the blooming garden.
Coming from a hot and dry island, we really appreciated the cool nights (no mosquitos), evening rains with the sunset.
My partner and I really recharge our batteries here. I highly recommend

We loved this property. Everything was clean and well looked after. The location is very secure with key codes to the main gate in addition to secure locks on the apartment. Our host left us drinks in the fridge to welcome us on arrival and contacted us to ensure that we had all information to access the property upon our arrival.
The location is perfect for hiking La Soufriere (since you need to get there early to find a good parking spot). The hosts were nice but with limited English, but we understood each other fine anyways. Convenient check-in/out.

The studio has everything you need to spend some comfortable nights. It feels just like home. Bonus points for all the animals as well.
The location is a bit away from the center but it is easy to get a bus and be dropped off just by the entrance of the neighborhood. This also makes it quiet to enjoy the sound of the nature at night.
It is a no brainer if you are looking for a good stay in Basse-terre or a great starting location for the Souffriere.
