The owner was relatively friendly and could speak English. Dinner (30 GEL extra) was good too and the portions were big. There is a nice yard and with how small ushguli is, everything is pretty close by. It's nice if you just want a place to crash for a night.

This is my second time staying in this guesthouse. Very cosy guesthouse in the middle of Ushguli. Comfortable and warm rooms with a shared bathroom. Loved the dinner and breakfast on offer (30 GEL per person for dinner and 25 GEL for breakfast) - it was delicious and very filling. Highly recommend.

Everything was good. The host was always in touch. They were ready to help.
Huge windows with the view on the towers.
Coffee, tea and the amazing Svaneti salt were provided. You can find everything what you need in the kitchen (you can cook there but bring the food from Mestia because it's hard to find a shop there) and in the bathroom.
We loved to stay there.
Thanks!

Very homely property, it’s like staying in someone’s house, because you could see many family photos and preserved vegetables that locals eat during winter. The food served in her cafe was also very nice, the property owner made them herself, we saw her make the dough from flour.
When we told the property owner that we had to head back to Mestia early morning (6am) the next day, she brought us to her friend who could bring us back by taxi and the rate was reasonable (200 GEL).

nice place, great hosts and amazing food, comfy beds
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Maria is a really great host! Really nice woman that care for her guests, always helpful when I needed something and she speaks good english. She even let me visit the Svan tower that is part of the guesthouse.
Room and bathroom were clean. I had a tasty dinner and breakfast. Didi madloba Maria!
A great experience and excellent value for money. The host family is very kind and welcoming. The guesthouse is a fascinating, traditional building with its own Svan tower that you can climb for a look round! The dining room is really charming and cosy, and the food was genuinely among the very best we ate in Georgia! Thanks!
Great hosts, mother and daughter, very friendly and service minded. From a simple kitchen the mother made great food.
The guesthouse was pretty basic, but charming and everything was good.
Guesthouse in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. We were very nicely hosted by an English-speaking person. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The best place in the area, definitely worth recommending.
Great guest house, we stayed 3 nights in a room with a double bed. Comfortable bed, warm blankets, view of the mountains and towers. Hot clean shower. There is a parking space. Also in the house there is a common space with a table and a sofa, you can work or eat there, there is also a kettle and tea. If you want to order breakfast and dinner from the hostess. Great combination of price and quality. Definitely recommend this guesthouse for people without high accommodation demands.
This is the best hotel I found in Ushguli, the owner is honest and friendly. The hostels in the village are all similar, with relatively simple facilities and toilets outside. It's cheap and quiet to live here, with convenient transportation and on the side of the main road.
great location up the top of the village. nice big secure yard for storing and washing bicycle. hosts were lovely and super helpful. very clean guesthouse and cozy fresh linen on beds. 2 bathrooms. nice communal eating space with lovely views. I didn’t use the kitchen area.
fabulous place in a great location, best guesthouse to stay in on the Adishi-Iprali part of the Mestia to Ushguli trek. fantastic hosts, great food and views
