Mark, the Owner, was lovely, very helpful and friendly. The Captain's Suite with Balcony was sensational ! Beautifully warm and very very stylish with a huge bed and a huge bathroom as well. Just amazing and so so clean. The evening meal was delicious. Breakfast at 9am was delivered in a large hamper and was just excellent and covered everything we would need. Can't wait to return !

Tanya and Andy are very welcoming. Breakfast is great. In the Exmoor so bring a torch. Very quiet and beautiful. Lovely village.. Lots of walks . A car a must to see the area and to travel there.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of town.
Breakfast was of a very high standard.
The room was comfortable, well-furnished with tea and coffee-making facilities.
The owners were friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the town and surrounding areas.
A Wetherspoons pub and a really good Indian restaurant, the Nawab, are within two minutes' walking distance.

Bar and restaurant area was charming, we stayed after a long day of exploring, and didn't intend on eating there. Ended up doing three courses and wow, was so delicious, great menu, blown away! The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We manged to park across the street, we were advised the rooms were undergoing some updating and this was a work in progress but we were very pleased with the room. Spacious and comfortable!
