No breakfast included in this booking since it was a Hostel. The room was large with a giant sized bed that was comfortable and a giant sized tv screen for late night viewing with popcorn. It had 3 large bay windows of those in old victorian style homes that had a street view through some landscaped bushes and trees. Bathroom and shower were on the main floor a short distance from the room itself. The Crosshill train station was a 2 minute walk from Glades House and convenient to get to downtown Glasgow in 10 minutes which provided a day off from driving.Tickets purchased from a machine on the platform. Not too many places to eat out but there were enough small locally owned cafes, ethnic food and pizza to enjoy.

This was one of the best places we stayed in Scotland, mostly due to the welcoming host and the many toys we found for our son in the shared lounge. Scott the host gave us a lot of tips for dinner, however we ended up ordering in due to the aforementioned toys. We were able to eat in the lounge which was great. We also got tips on where and what to order for takeout. Comfortable beds, quiet location, nice breakfast. Highly recommended!
Great host and a great place. Fabulous homecooked options for everybody who likes the Scottish breakfast as well as lighter options for those who aren't such big eters in the morning.
This was my fourth stay on route back from completing the north coast nc 500 and i have to say the best.... Overall very pleasant stay, great host and lovely room ,bedding and very comfortable bed and best nights sleep for a while . Even the biscuits in the room were top quality 👌
