Amazing! We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. The property had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and lovely extra touches - continental breakfast and lovely toiletries. Perfect location for exploring the area. Large car park. I would 100% recommend this property and would love to return in the future

Rowrah Hall, hotel in Whitehaven

Boasting garden views, Rowrah Hall features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 22 km from Buttermere.

Outstanding hospitality. This was our second occasion. We opted for location fully informed that there was no breakfast and we were a few miles from the nearest cluster of eating places so came prepared. We slept beautifully in the peaceful rural location and comfy 4 poster bed. The room and en suite were top to bottom clean and we were treated to a top of the range coffee machine. So much quality. When the internet went down, we contacted Jules who was on his own as Ausra was visiting family. He couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful and took an interest in our well being with chat and banter on both check-in and check-out. Even the turkeys and peahens in the grounds were friendly and followed us around when we went for a walk. An altogether memorable and relaxing experience….again!

We loved this property, a great start and end to our coast to coast journey. Hosts were friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating - charming. The property had everything we needed, and there is a mini Morrisons round the corner. A quiet residential neighbourhood 15' walk from town centre and sea front bars.

It's a tastefully decorated, very clean little guest house within walking distance of the shore. Situated opposite a park it is nice and quiet. It had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. Lovely fresh breakfast, from fresh fruits to a range of cooked items, with a great view of the sea from my table. Free overnight parking at the end of the road opposite.
