Stunning view of the Wye Valley, super friendly owners, easy to park. The room also has a great view of the beautiful landscape and their garden. I forgot some clothes, which they kindly posted on to my home address free of charge. The microwave was very useful for making my porridge in the morning! I will certainly be staying again when I'm next working in the area.

We stayed in a self contained room next to the house. The room was spacious, warm, huge bed, lovely big bathroom and excellent shower. We had our own fridge, stocked with some cider, water and fresh milk . We had tea and coffee, plus a coffee maker. Hilary had given us a huge, delicious cider cake - enough for a family of 6! The breakfast was lovely - well cooked, good choice, full English breakfast or any combination or scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Lovely fresh berries yoghurt and cereal. Hilary was warm and hospitable and was knowledgeable about the local area. We had a lovely stroll through the orchards to the local put which sold delicious pizzas. The farm is only a couple of miles from Ross on Wye. All in all - a very good choice ! Thank you.

What a lovely little gem this guest house is. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and cosy. And the quirkiness of the whole building completed our stay. There is easy access to pubs, shops, restaurants and the river. I would happily stay here again-and have passed on the details to other people too!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Hosts were friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble.
Norton House was quirky and full of character (dating back to 1716).
Location was quiet and peaceful (even though A40 was nearby!)
Great location, Craig and Lynn were great hosts and the breakfast was lovely. Super comfy bed. This is also a dog friendly Bed and Breakfast. There were plenty of good eateries around, we tried Ye old Ferrie Inn which was about 5 minutes drive away, it overlooked the Wye river and the food and service was great. Also tried La Piccola Italian in Monmouth, great food and service.
Very easy to find, quiet lane just off main road. Good central location for attractions. Walking distance to great pubs, places to eat and the river.
Excellent food, super helpful hosts.
Cafe and art gallery on site so easy to get lunch, afternoon tea etc
Great vegan and vegetarian food options.
Beautiful B & B in a pretty location. Hosts were friendly. Room was clean, quiet & comfortable with stunning views. Breakfast was nice. Perfect location for Monmouth & Little Doward Woods...
Such a beautiful property in a great location for exploring the outdoors. The room was extremely generous in size and very comfortable too. Breakfast was delicious and Craig was happy to cater for a fussy vegetarian without any issues. Lynne and Craig were fabulous hosts!
There are good places to eat a very short walk away for the evenings - a fab curry at the crown and delicious meal at the potting shed.
The crafts were beautiful too!
A lovely charming house set in a good location for exploring the area.
The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and gave us great suggestions on where to visit.
The breakfast is fantastic.
Great location for the course my wife was attending. Added bonus is the gallery with lots of excellent arts and crafts objects. Great breakfast and friendly host.
Craig was an excellent host, extremely friendly and had lots of recommendations. Beautiful old building in a nice quiet spot. Easy parking right out the front.
Was a lovely stay at Norton House. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The homemade muesli was absolutely delicious. Thanks Craig! Noise is not an issue. Our room was quiet and the bed quite comfy.
Beautiful property, great location, perfect host. Craig is a natural in hospitality: considerate, thoughtful and charming but not pushy in any way.
