Good parking, very welcoming by the owners (who are really lovely) , warm and comfortable rooms. An older style property but well maintained, stylishly and sympathetically presented, plus exceedingly homely. The room was very clean and pleasant had a beautiful view. A kettle was provided with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The TV had lots of channels. The bedding was pretty and fresh and the en suite shower room was also very clean, sizeable, with large bath towels, shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast is served in a very pleasant drawing room.The full English breakfast served was excellent and plentiful, plus there was a choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, porridge, eggs and more. All very appetising and nicely served by friendly, pleasant and helpful staff.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, everything was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent. The room was large, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. It's a short and easy walk into the city centre, and there are lovely parks and gardens nearby. I wish I had arranged to stay longer!

We had a lovely, comfortable room which was a perfect temperature as it was so cold outside. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly and we had the most delicious breakfast.
The location was great and close to Charlotte Street car park where we left our car.

Beautiful, quiet location. First time glamping, and it b was an experience I shall be repeating. Bed and shower facilities were great in the Shepherd hut and felt perfectly safe.
Good explanation given of facilities upon my arrival. Friendly hosts who would have been there if I needed them, and I felt assured of that.
Had a great stay really help and friendly staff, there was an Internet problem in the guest house so the landlady Carol was happy for me to catchup on some work in the bar amd offered to find me a quieter place if it become to busy.
Food and drink was great and a reasonable price and breakfast very nice good quality food which you sometimes don't when staying away .
I believe I have found my regular place to stay when working in the area in the future.
It was the perfect bed and breakfast for us. Spacious and beautifully renovated rooms. The breakfast was freshly prepared and all requests were taken care of. Lynda and Peter are great hosts.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area. The hosts were fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. Our room was large, clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet village. The breakfast is fantastic, choices of fresh fruit, cereals, pancakes and a cooked breakfast. We would definitely recommend!
Very comfortable well equipped room and a lovely breakfast offering plenty of choice. Our hosts made us very welcome. The location was perfect for us, being quiet with a very pleasant view across the garden and beyond from our room. In conclusion, we couldn't fault this charming cottage style B&B at all.
